‘What If Nobody’s Home?’ is currently headed and edited by Tom Cartwright and Jay-Ger Nelson, who also founded the project in August 2026.

Tom Cartwright is an English literature student at the University of Oxford. After completing a two-year course with their continuing education department, he has solidified his transition away from mathematics and finance by moving to full-time study.
His primary responsibilities for WINH include overall vision and creative direction, social media management, and of course writing.
His favourite movies include A Knight’s Tale and Punch-Drunk Love.

Jay-Ger Nelson is a trainee therapist in the existential psychodynamic modality at the Edinburgh Centre for Psychodynamic Therapy; with a background in archaeology and hospitality.
Their primary responsibilities for WINH include website design and management, communicating growth strategy, writing, and the occasional social media post.
Their favourite movies include Breaking the Waves and Morvern Callar.
